The Love Of Money is the Root of All Good

I'm reading Atlas Shrugged right now.  One of the greatest books I've read.... so far at least.

I came across this speech in the book and it is quite amazing.  Money is perhaps the greatest metrical measure of how each of us has shown God the results of the "talents" he has given us argues one of Rand's characters (although the character was probably an Atheist).

Money is a testament to the glory of God's creation a Christian would argue after listening to this speech.  Knowing that money can be tracked via numbers and put in a bar graph, the ability to numerically track, say, Mother Teresa's use of her "talents" still eludes us.

Enjoy

That has gotta be because of No Agenda. Adam Curry strikes again.

actually, yes, it is because of No Agenda - I had to be given a reason to finally pick up this book.

Mr. Curry certainly delivered with all that talk about us bombing Israeli moon bases.

Patrick Bateman's favorite author was Ayn Rand. Just Saying.
